How Kindness Struck in Tromsø During My Solo Trip

    01/03/2026

Everyone talks about their childhood friends, but no one talks about the best friend you found on your own in the middle of trying to figure out how to survive in the adult world.

    Long story short,

In December 2019, I found a way to visit Tromsø in Norway, as part of my long way Europe solo trip.
After having my cash and phone stolen (glad i still had my laptop and backup phone with me) in Brussels, Belgium. I cancelled all my plans (hotels, aurora trips and visits to other countries) and a kind-hearted family offered to host me during my visit to Tromsø. I stayed with them for four nights and had such a wonderful time far from home; they made me feel right at home.
I hope to meet them in the future to express my gratitude for their kindness. Geir and family, thank you! 🤍

I got my story recorded on my dear friend DCarry’s Podcast right from our hostel room 😍

Bear with my pillow face and my English back then. 🫠

If I Ever Could Introduce Myself Again,

    24/02/2026

    If i ever could introduce myself again;
If i ever could introduce myself without mentioning those superficial markers,
I would introduce myself that I am simple.
As simple as I will go where there’s peace, I stay where It’s consistent, steady, and secure.

I would introduce myself that I’m a leaver.
If it doesn’t feel right, I’ll disappear in no time.
No dragging it out, no explanations.
Because people know what they’re doing.

I would introduce myself as a woman who you can admire from afar. A woman that has everything going for herself and if you’re not ready to add value to her life, then you know your seat…
No, I’m not that difficult, or too complex.
I just have more layers than time you’re willing to invest.

You like taking shortcuts and I’ll always be the long way home. That’s why you’ll never know me; coz I believe some things are worth the extra time, like the long way home and me.

So if by any chance, before I introduce myself to you and if you see or you’ve already seen me beautiful, that’s in fact a reflection of the beauty that lives in you.
    ___

    It’s me.

    Tell me more about you?

    xx

If INFJ is a Classic Quote

    24/02/2026

POV: being the most realistic dreamer in the world.

Here are some fun facts i found about this ‘you don’t know at all’ type of personality:

INFJs have a calming presence and are hopeful souls and hopeless romantics. They are wise beyond their years and want to cuddle. They rarely start a fight and are extremely positive. They don’t talk about their inner feelings and need time alone or with only one trusted person.

INFJs also has no chill. They are anxious balls of fire that consume their soul. They don’t think that anyone can really love them. They are scared to hug people and will snap if someone crosses a value or mocks a deep passion of theirs. They will casually mention past trauma as a joke.

Imagine being an INFJ while also a Capricorn?

What type are you? Maybe I’ll do some research next time, yes.

Pick The One Who’s always in the Mood for You Everyday✨

    04/02/2026

The one who’s in the mood for you every single day

    xx

What’s interesting and meaningful about this post is that the video was taken on our last meeting; a farewell sunset with a man I had been meeting at least once a week. No specific agenda, the meeting usually consisted of in-depth talks, coffees, and sunsets. (not gonna mention some awkward moments) ☺️

At the time, we weren’t even dating, as far as I was concerned (hubby will not be agreeing this✌🏻🥲😘) realised later that we loved meeting each other again and again that much, with reasons yeah… words couldn’t explain.

It happened continuously for nearly four months, before he returned to his home country. 🥺🥲

    …

    God is the Greatest!
    MashaAllah tabarakallah 🤍✨

    Long story short,

In less than two years from our last meeting, we finally ended up married to each other! Almost two weeks’ marriage now. Alhamdulillah 🤍🥰✨

How we finally got married? It’s gonna be a chapter we’d like to be on Netflix 🤪

    …

    Bear with me, sayang.

You will always be part of my ‘behind the story of the hopeless romantic” posts. 👻

    Seni seviyorum, bitanem.

    xx
    …

    The one who stays
    The one who comes back
Coz they never leave each other’s

    I’m not talking about chairs.

If someone creates distance, you honor their choice and allow them their space. You no longer chase clarity where it isn’t offered. If they never returned to address the issue, that’s where your connection likely ends.
You’ve learned to protect your energy and value mutual effort. You’ve worked too hard to nurture a healthy relationship to hold on where you’re not valued.
