The one who’s in the mood for you every single day
xx
What’s interesting and meaningful about this post is that the video was taken on our last meeting; a farewell sunset with a man I had been meeting at least once a week. No specific agenda, the meeting usually consisted of in-depth talks, coffees, and sunsets. (not gonna mention some awkward moments) ☺️
At the time, we weren’t even dating, as far as I was concerned (hubby will not be agreeing this✌🏻🥲😘) realised later that we loved meeting each other again and again that much, with reasons yeah… words couldn’t explain.
It happened continuously for nearly four months, before he returned to his home country. 🥺🥲
…
God is the Greatest!
MashaAllah tabarakallah 🤍✨
Long story short,
In less than two years from our last meeting, we finally ended up married to each other! Almost two weeks’ marriage now. Alhamdulillah 🤍🥰✨
How we finally got married? It’s gonna be a chapter we’d like to be on Netflix 🤪
…
Bear with me, sayang.
You will always be part of my ‘behind the story of the hopeless romantic” posts. 👻
Seni seviyorum, bitanem.

I’m not talking about chairs.
If someone creates distance, you honor their choice and allow them their space. You no longer chase clarity where it isn’t offered. If they never returned to address the issue, that’s where your connection likely ends.
You’ve learned to protect your energy and value mutual effort. You’ve worked too hard to nurture a healthy relationship to hold on where you’re not valued.

“We sometimes think we want to disappear, but all we really want is to be found.” —
I used to relate to this quote and the feelings of heaviness and being overwhelmed by overthinking so much. Lacking attention from people i truly cared about they never had. Lack of answers. Lack of self-love and thought i was never enough.
It suffocated me. I relapsed many times.
Reject those who tried to offer some love, care…
Too lost to receive.
…
Time definitely will help you with its time.
I slowly got better and healed.
Realise I shouldn’t have to reach a crisis for anyone to believe my distress.
Understand enough that we still can disappear sometimes, until we are ourselves again.
And that’s OK to disappear for growth.
I am now ME again, wholeheartedly.
Surrounded by beautiful and stronger love i never had and people i love fully, abundantly, who’ve always been there. Always.
’til we meet again? xx

Have you noticed how everyone’s suddenly obsessed with black coffee? Like, Americanos are everywhere. It’s kind of funny, isn’t it? Seems like we’ve all collectively realized we’ve been drowning our taste buds in sugar for way too long. We’re finally seeing the light!
My mom, bless her heart, is always on my case about my coffee habit. She worries I’m going to turn into some kind of caffeine monster, even though she’s totally given up on trying to wean my dad off his sugary Tubruk. He likes his coffee sweet, let me tell you. I always try to tell her, “Mom, mine’s different! It’s black! No sugar!” But, you know, moms. They worry.
I’ve been drinking black coffee for ages, though. I think I got it from my dad. He’s always been my coffee role model. Plus, I’ve never really been a sweets person anyway, so black coffee just… clicked. It tastes good. I actually kind of tease my dad about it. Like, “Hey Dad, look how cool I am, drinking my coffee like a grown-up!” (He just rolls his eyes, usually.)
But it makes you think, right? About how you get used to things. Like, the longer you go without sugar in your coffee, the more you realize you don’t even need it. Your taste buds just… change. It’s weird! It’s like your body’s all, “Oh, okay, we’re doing this now. Black coffee it is!”
And it’s not just coffee, either. I think it’s like that with everything. The longer you go without something, the easier it gets to live without it. Habits, routines… maybe even, like, certain types of people? Yeah, that goes for people, too… just a thought. Anyway, next time you’re sipping your black coffee, think about it. It’s a little life lesson in a mug.”
